Can you really pull of the wild, eclectic accessory trends seen on runways for Fall 2010? We loved viewing the meticulously haphazard oxymoron that was the Catherina Malandrino show at New York Fashion Week (and wish we could pull it off ourselves!) Beautifully ornate and unique accessories were layered to create a gorgeous, dynamic look.
So, how can you pull this off? We love the idea of layering gorgeous accessories (like the ones below) in unexpected ways…
* Be Unexpected: Wear bracelets over gloves or a chunky necklace over a high-collar shirt. We loved the large, intricate necklaces seen on the Fall runways, and think this Michelle Roy Leaf Bib Necklace is practically a masterpiece in itself!
* Be Kind: If you want to get a playful accessory for the Fall (but don’t want to hurt the environment), try going green with this supremely affordable Goody Green Bag. It’s bright pop of color and funky texture is perfect to punch up any outfit!
* Be Bold: Strong, wild patterns were huge this Fall (and can make even a simple black dress look beautiful), so we love a variety of vibrant K.C Malhan Handbags (they would even look amazing with jeans and a T!)
* What Do You Think: What was your favorite trend from the Catherine Malandrino video?
