* Â Breakdown of the Month: RESPECT BLOGGERS CONTEST
Being defined as a blogger is like being part of a super cool sorority. I am constantly fielding emails from interested friends and creative women asking how to start their blog, how to get important contacts and what will propel their idea from a few words to someone’s favorite website. Working with other women in the quest for success is not a burden or a hardship, but one of the most fulfilling aspects of this profession… who doesn’t want to help another fellow mom or writer?
But even though I love sharing tips for creating your own successful blog, most women need an “in” to get the ball rolling. If you consider yourself a new blogger, a curious content creator or simply someone who needs a leg up, listen up. As part of the Respect Bloggers initiative- a campaign created by myself and Debutante Media to improve PR and blogger relations, and irradiate the misuse of in-home journalists by brands- you now have your “in”.
