How You Can Win A Full Body Beauty, Fashion and Health Makeover For FREE

Life flies by when you’re a mom (and sometimes we need a style upgrade)…

* Breakdown of the Month: FREE MAKEOVERS!

What would you do for the chance to get a beauty, fashion, fitness and nutrition makeover? Since the start of Makeover Momma, I’ve received so many emails from stressed out, tired and overworked moms, begging me for makeover advice. Some of the women can’t seem to shake those last post-partum pounds, while others are dealing with irritated complexions or an outdated hair style. This is what gave me the inspiration for a unique, one-of-a-kind experience this summer that I can’t wait to share!

Win A FREE Makeover: Become a Makeover Momma of the Month

I’m picking 3 Makeover Mommas of the Month, and you could be 1 of them! Just do the following…

* Comment Below: Why do you need a makeover this summer?

* Follow Our Sponsors: Read about the amazing products you’ll receive below, and be sure to follow all of them either on Twitter or Facebook to show your support.

The Goods: The Experts Behind Your Makeover Experience

* The Complexion Makeover: L’oreal Paris

You don’t need another reason to love L’oreal Paris (at least I know I don’t), but they’re still giving you a new one. They’re spoiling all three Makeover Mommas with amazing makeup products from their fresh summer line. If you want clear looking skin this year but are never sure which shade to choose, the folks at L’oreal will personally recommend the right color for your skin tone (and send all the goodies you need to get clear, smooth looking skin). It’s the next best thing to having someone photoshop your complexion every day, except in this case it’s easy to use, it’s perfectly suited to your face and takes mere minutes to apply. You’ll never look back on your old foundation (trust me!)

* The Makeup Makeover: Avon Jillian Dempsey Color Corrector Palette and Professional Eye Smokifier

No one understands stressed out, busy, budgeted moms more than Avon. They have affordable products, multi-tasking alternatives and easy-to-use-options that make my heart go “pitter patter”. But despite my perpetual Avon crush, you will fall madly in love with Jillian Dempsey’s top selling items (even if you’re already in love with her adorable husband). They are perfect for creating that sexy, bold smoky eye that you’ve always wanted, but have never been able to perfect (no sleepless nights with a toddler needed!) I’ve always been amazed at the power of a perfectly perfected, expertly administered smoky eye: your face will pop and you’ll wonder why you never took the time to do this before.

* The Skin Makeover: Brazillian Peel

The brand new Brazillian Peel is the #1 seller on shelves at Sephora, and you’re going to be trying it ahead of the pack. Don’t be scared by the word “peel”: this is the first professional-level glycolic-acid peel attainable at home, but it doesn’t have scary side effects or “red as a lobster” results. Instead, you’ll get instantly smoother, softer and more streamlined skin (just like you would if going to a fancy spa). It will help gently remove dead skin cells, visible wrinkles or pesky age spots, by gradually chipping away at years of damage. Valued at $78, you’ll use the treatment once per week over the next 4 weeks…. it’s like a good night’s sleep in a box!

* The Tan Makeover: Beautisol Summer Glow Beautikit

I recently gave myself my own summer glow makeover by finally trying out self tanner after years of only “dabbling”. I was amazed at how easy the new formulas can be and how realistic the shades have become. Thankfully, Beautisol is one of the best self tanners on the market, because it was created by the Self Tanning Queen herself Sinead Norenius. Sinead tried every single self tanner on the market for years, until she finally figured out the key elements to the perfect formula (and thus Beautisol was born!) By using the simply Summer Glow Beautikit, you can get an all over “back from the beach” look, without streaky, smelly and silly results. It gives you an instantly bronzed look (so you can see where you’re applying), doesn’t turn orange, and is even packed with anti-aging ingredients… does it get more perfect?

* The Body Makeover: Bliss Fat Girl Slim Treatment Kit

As if the name isn’t enough reason to completely adore this kitschy product line, the results will have you sold in no time. This cellulite reduction treatment from Bliss is perfect for those troublesome areas you can’t seem to fight off with diet and exercise. The kit is packed with revolutionary, cult-hit products that are like squeezing a weekend health retreat into your bathroom. Featuring FatGirlSlim (a caffeine-packed cream that reduces cellulite), FatGirlScrub (to slough off bumpy skin), FatGirlSleep (for a slimming pre-bed treatment), and FatGirlSlimulator (a one-of-a-kind massage tool designed to boost circulation and eliminate lumps and bumps). Bikini here you come!

* The Hair Makeover: Dove Nourishing Oil Care Daily Treatment Conditioner

What’s a makeover worth if you have dry, frizzy, damaged hair in the end? (Hint: not at a lot). Luckily, the fabulous Dove (who has positive female advertisements and healthy product options) are topping themselves again by treating the Makeover Momma winners to their new, creamy conditioner. Designed specifically to heal and repair over-processed locks, even beauty professionals and product “shnoras” are fans of this brand new treatment. Women see a noticeable difference with only a few minutes in the shower (personally, I prefer applying conditioner from root to tip, and leaving in for at least 5 minutes while I shaving so it has ample time to absorb). You can also use this conditioner as a daily serum (applying a dime size amount to frayed ends) or as a protective ointment before heat styling. Silky, soft hair… here you come!

* The Color Makeover: Kelly Van Gogh Master Blend

How much would you pay to have a celebrity stylist and hair coloring expert give you a personal consultation? That’s exactly what super star Kelly Van Gogh is doing for our final three winners. She’ll study your current color, give you personal suggestions for how to improve your look at home, and send you the exact hair color you need to get salon results (without the price tag!) Her dyes are specifically made to give you gorgeous styles without the worry. Whether highlights that can be “frozen” at the perfect shade you need or all-over-color that couldn’t be easier to apply… you’ll feel gorgeous in no time!

* The Fitness Makeover: Acacia Fitness DVD’s

Just because you’re getting a makeover doesn’t mean you’re any less of a mom. Finding time to workout at a gym or meet with a personal trainer is nearly impossible with your crazy schedule, so get results at home (and be able to keep them up) with 4 hand-picked DVD’s from Acacia. Each DVD has been chosen to give you a wide range of amazing results: for fat loss, for lengthening, for toning and to cut stress levels (which contributes to extra fat around our bellies). Squeeze in workouts at home, lose weight and feel amazing… can you beat that?

* The Accessory Makeover: Stella & Dot

I adore my friend Elise and her amazing collection of Stella & Dot jewelery. Recently I forced myself to wear a beautiful piece of jewelry every single day for a month (even if it was just the same pair of big, bold earrings), and realized what a difference it really makes in personal style. Simply adding a gorgeous, feminine item to your everyday ensembles can instantly take your look from “simply dressed” to “super stylish”. The best part about Stella & Dot jewelry, however, is that it looks expensive, luxe and chic…. but doesn’t have the overpriced tag to match. Now you can look perfectly put together at all times, without breaking the bank. Fabulous!

Follow: @sd_elise and Irresistible Style

The Final Results: What You Do

If you want to participate, follow our amazing sponsors and leave your comment below (easy enough, right?) 3 Makeover Mommas of the Month will be chosen at random in 1 week (that’s right, you only have 7 days to enter, before your products are shipped out). Remember that the final ladies need to be prepared to take clear “Before” and “After” photos, use all products and treatments according to the directions for 30 days (no excuses), and follow all instructions given to the best of their abilities.

If you think you’re up for the task, then get ready…get set…. get made-over!

I am a 38 yr old, single mom of a 10 yr old boy with aspergers syndrome and adhd. I am a bail bonds woman, so I am on call 24/7. I get very little sleep. Over the last couple of years I have lost about 85 lbs, going from 255lbs to 170lbs. Unfortunately this weight loss has caused sagging skin. I feel old and tired and saggy. I desperately need improvement.

  3. Regine Raphael says:

I am a single parent of a 5 year old who has a genetic disorder known as trisomy 14. I am 28 years old, which I think is still relatively young, yet I feel tired and unattractive. I won’t buy myself new clothing because I hate the way I look in clothing not to mention my financial status truly is not the best. I walked away from a four year long relationship last year because the guy I was with never made me feel loved or wanted. I have since found someone who truly loves me for me, but he’s one of those “realist” and he makes comments all the time about me acting like a grand ma, and dressing like one. It hurts my feelings because I want to look my best for him and me…….. I need help! I have no idea where to begin.

  4. giva roberts says:

Hi, my daughter who turned 22 yesterday has 2 babies 1 & 2.. she is a strikingly beautiful redhead with blue eyes and eyelashes you could use as an umbrella! She is having so many issues with the baby chicken scratch stomach and about 60 lbs. Her stratch marks were so bad that her whole tummy bled as she got closer to delivery, it was painful to see. I would love for my daughter to get a chance to have a makeover so she could regain her confidence as a women not only a mother. She is however an excellent, thoughtful, loving, and selfless mom. Im very proud of her. I would love for her to experience her 20’s without this extra depression that the weight has given her. I am 40 5’2 and 122 lbs.. she is 22 4’11 and a HALF so she says and prolly 160 175 not really sure.. i know she carries herself better than some with the weight but i think she would blossom more if she could be the size her genes have given her. Please consider my daughter or let me know of a sweepstake or whatever i could enter her in.. i would love for her to have the surgery that is a tummy tuck? not sure hat they call it… If its Gods will let it be done! Thank you, from a very hopeful mommy to her daughter! giva

I am writing this for my mother, her and my father have 2 children my brother who\’s 11 and I am 13. My mother is 32 years old and her birthdays in December and she is always wishing to get a full body makeover. About 2 years ago my mom lost 27 pounds so she went down to 150 so she gave away all of her old clothes and got new clothes but over the years she gained 25 pounds again so she gave me all of her clothes that don\’t fit her and now she wears sweatpants and t shirts with her hair up most of the time.She\’s been wanting to lose that weight again so were actually supposed to start working out together with her friend also but now that school starts and my brother always has football practice it\’s been hard and we haven\’t done anything yet. My mom always says she would love to look her age not to \"old\" not to \"young\". Her hair is black and when she tries to dye it it always comes out wrong so she just sticks to black all the time. My family and I would love to see her have this for her just to feel special and like the most beautiful woman in the world. I have been searching all over for full body makeovers but all I find is make overs that cost up to $1000 and that is really expensive and it\’s a surprise so my mom would know if theres that much money missing and would figure what were doing. If you can do this for my mom before her bithday we would be so happy. I just hate my mom feeling insecure and thinking she\’s not beautiful just because of the way she looks. Again, Thank You so much!

Right now he’s TDY to NC and has been gone a month and won’t be back until March 1st. He was just in Korea for a year without us. I’ve tried to be positive but it’s hard not to be depressed and just get down on myself with him being gone all the time or us moving every year or so. I just want to feel good and have my husband say WOW! I need to get that spark back and I think doing this will make me fell better about myself. Moving around doesn’t permit me to find good people I trust to do my hair, nails, etc. Right now I live in middle of nowhere in Utah (google Dugway) and the nearest town is about an hour away…not convenient at all. I work 10 hr days and just look and feel run down…please help!!!

Hi, My name is Amanda and I am a 26 year old single mother of two 4, and 5 year old with Autism. I work a full time job and commute long distances each day. I do not receive help and I have no social network or friends in my area. I am often tired, and feel in desperation. Each cent I have goes to my children and our immediate needs not wants. My ex husbands mother has been kind enough to buy me clothes in the past but our ideas of age appropriateness aren’t the same. I work in a male industry and so it’s not uncommon my clothes are covered with dirt and grime and being on my feet moving heavy things I’m hardly wearing heels. I have not gone to replace clothes for myself in 6-8 years except for essentials when they ris

Now we are living with mother-in-law and trying to get her house in order to sell. I work third shift 40+ hrs a week, I am going to school at night for engineering, and Children’s Director at our church. Just looking at turning 35 this year is troubling. 23. Erica Washington says:

Hi, im erica. I have so much going on i dont know where to begin, but here goes. Im a mother of 2 gorgeous girls, a wife a one loving husband. Ive been overwhelmed with grief & torment. The past 4 yrs ive been dealing with continual pain & sickness, this yr i was finally diagnosed with endometriosis, over the past 3 months, my pain, sickness, symptoms&body over all have gotten much worse, i havent had one day with out horribly intense pain, or contraction attacks. I cant eat normally, use the bathroom with out horrible pain, my periods have begun butchering my body & i have migraines everday. I cant perform my duties as mom or wifey & its tearing me apart. My kids always know when im feeling bad & it hurts me to see their faces when i cant play. Sex hurts like hell & i feel like less of a woman. I dont feel sexy anymore. I cant excersise to lose weight because of my health issues & it hurts whenever i cant even look at my husband during sex because i feel so unattractive. My hair was beautiful but all the meds ive been taking have caused most of my hair to breack off, now it s weak & brittle. I had bad post partum after both children & i feel like im worthless to my family. I know they love me but. I feel like i failed them. I feel a make over would give me the encouragement & motivation i need to keep moving forward. Im going back to school in august because i want a better life for all of us. My husband works alot but after rent & bills, we cant afford much else let alone insurance. So ive been struggling to get coverage to get my endometriosis seen about. Im praying that God will shine some light on my life, take away my pain & give me a peace of mind & joy. thank you

  24. In my opinion, my mom is a stunning woman. She does not think so. All she wears is t-shirts and jeans. I just got her to cut her long hair because she doesn’t do anything with it. she says she never has the time to do so. When I tell her she is beautiful, she says no she is not. I hate my own mom thinks she is not beautiful and she gave me life. I just want to return the favor to her.

    Thank you!

  25. Danielles says:

Im a single mom of two talented boys, whom I follow every where. I never take the time for myself. I feel if they are happy then I am happy. i work 40 plus hours a week then lead a cub scout group then off to church with other and watch him play his music. i feel I could go on and on about what we have been through but i think everyone will agree we have all been through something. it was just a different day and time. i would love to have 5 seconds for myself but if not i am still truly blessed for who my boys help me to be.

  26. ladonna settlemyre says:

My children clown me because l mend my broken teeth with fingernail acrylic, that my wardrobe is older than they are(they are 18 and 15 year old boys) and that my part looks like a bald spot. I am a single mom and cannot afford to pay for dental work or. A new wardrobe.

  27. ladonna settlemyre says:

I am 45 years old. 5’9″ and 215 lbs. I dye my grey hair auburn when I can.

  28. Guillermina says:

I am 46, 4′ 10″. After becoming a mother it seems people look at me in a very diminishing way. When I was in high school, I used to be the first place, once in college, I graduated with honors 3.6 GPA. While a stayhome mom, I kept studying, got certified, started my own business. But nobody seems to belief I am capable; not even in church. I quited my last job because of the diminishing comments about me. I quited a church because of the same reasons. And I see myself on the mirror when I go out with my family. I look bad, and I don’t see how to fix myself and become sucessful again.

  29. Shana Virden says:

I am 34 and a single mother of 6 year old daughter. I am trying to teach my daughter to be healthy happy and take good care of yourself. I at one time was a hundred and 80 pounds. I have left quite a bit of weight a lot has to do with the spinal surgeries that I have had. I have had numerous spinal procedures. I want my daughter to look at me like a beautiful night I’m not a mom that’s worn out bad teeth. I am active and I enjoy and appreciate all of my blessings. I don’t want to be an embarrassment to my daughter because her mom is not beautiful. Please help me to feel beautiful again. I am in tears as I’m writing this. Thank you for this opportunity god bless you.

  30. Yolanda says:

I am a single mother of 3 living and 1 deceased. When I lost my son, I suffered from depression and low self esteem. I just want to feel like a woman again and hold my head up when I am in public places.

I love changing it up…my problem is I am at the age where its difficult to determine “age appropriate” styles. I am 43, have two children attending college and my baby is a junior in highschool. 36. Ashleigh says:

I’m 18 years old with a 6 Month old daughter and ever since I’ve had her I haven’t been able to make myself look nice. I work as a Carer so don’t really get to see many “fashionable” people for inspiration. I can’t seem to find any clothes that fit me properly and I want to look as good as my friends and family do. All I wear is a strap top and jeans every day because I don’t know what to buy that looks half decent. I sometimes feel embarrassed to leave the front door to even go for a walk.

  37. Cara says:

Where do I begin. I’m 28 years old and have 3 kids. I am currently going through a divorce from a verbally, emotionally, and mentally abusive man. I never was the cream of the crop. I was overweight my entire life and have only had 1 boyfriend before I met my ex-husband. All of my elementary and middle school years were so rough, bully-wise, that I dropped out of school so I could “escape” the pain. If it isn’t bad enough that you spend your young adult/teenage years bullied to where I had zero self-worth…. Same current situation. I have never felt so worthless and unattractive as I do now. I was called every degrading name in the book. Ultimately it has resulted into my now. I feel so unattractive and I feel like even though my husband was abusive, I do not even deserve better because no one has ever wanted my before. He accepted me for all of my flaws. My hair is falling out, my teeth are deteriorating, I have varicose veins, floppy stretchmark infested skin from my childbirths and again, I am only 28….. And now lonely. I have been so depressed about my appearance and my low self worth that I have contemplated suicide. I have nothing left to lose. Please make me over, I need to know what love is inside, outside, and by others. Thank you

  41. audrey says:

I am desperate. My name is Audrey I am a 24 year old mother of two beautiful girls ages 5 and 2. They make me feel beautiful. but when I look in the mirror I just don’t see it. when I was younger in high school I was bullied because of my teeth I have a huge gap in my front teeth so I try and cover my smile. They gap is big enough to stick a straw in. I was bullied because of my teeth as well as my hair. my hair isn’t so bad now I had frizzy uncontrollable hair, now I get it relaxed. but my teeth are still a major issue. since I have had my two children due to breast feeding them both my breasts are not like they use to be they are not perky at all they are quite droopy. I have had surgery on my right breast twice due to the fact that I have Fibroadenoma I have had two scares of breast cancer. also my breasts seem to have shrank in size. and no matter how much I try and lose my tummy when I stand up I cant do it. I only weigh 115 pounds but I have had two c sections and I cannot lose the little stomach I do have . and I have quite a bit of stretch marks as well . I hate looking at my self naked in the mirror due to the fact of these issues and I have low self esteem. I would love to have a extreme makeover it would make my life a whole lot better. I suffer from depression and I think having a makeover would boost my self esteem and help with some of my depression. I am a hard worker I give a lot to people. I work with the elderly in their homes so they can keep their independence and do not have to go to nursing homes. on top of that I am raising my two children. I would love to do this for myself, to make me feel good about myself. please please help me.
    thank you so much,

I never thought I would ever ask but I need some help. I am recently disabled mother of two, grandmother of four, and about to be a great grandmother. I am turning 55 in September and feel like I look 100 yrs old. I need a new look to make my spirit lift back up. My disability has really knocked me down and I gave up trying. I have finally gotten things back in control but have no idea where to start with me. My worn out looks are controlling how I feel about myself and need to change that for myself, my hubby and family. I am ready for a change and need someone’s help. I thank you for the opportunity to enter for a chance to change my life. Mendy

I’m 31 and have two kids. I’m very insecure about myself.if I try on cloths i get depressed. At work, bar, friends house and when I visit family. They ask if I’m pregnant or how far am I and touch my stomach. Sad thing is I’m not. I feel big but people say I’m small. I try to stay positive but it’s hard.

My mom is a SUPERMOM. She is 41 and absolutely beautiful but I think she forgets that. She raised my little sister and I by herself for many years. She also raised my step brother. She has been through two divorces and has always worked full time. Though cannot afford to take care of herself. For the last two years she has been raising my nephew who is 2. He has some complications due to his mother not making great decisions while pregnant. So she’s constantly working or in and out of doctors appointments. She does so much and I would just like her to feel the beauty I see when I look at her. It would be amazing if you chose her

April 12, 2013 we received very devastating news that our mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. Our lives flipped upside down overnight, with the doctors appointments and other events that occur during cancer, making the past 21 months so incredibly stressful for us. But the one person who took the brunt of the stress is my sister. First off I want to let you know that my sister is a nurse and has always cared for others more than herself. Because she is a nurse, she was the primary caregiver for our mother. She scheduled the appointments and administered the meds, as well as overseen the care that the rest of us gave mom. Sadly mom passed Sept. 2013, as comfortably as we could make it for her in the family home. Yes, the family home. (The home that I was born in.) Then came legal issues with mom’s estate. Mom had taken out a reverse mortgage, causing my sister to unsuccessfully try to satisfy the bank. Jan 9, 2015, was another devastating loss…the home we knew for 50 years was gone. All of this has caused my sister her own health issues, causing her to lose a lot of weight. She could afford to loose weight, but this was serious weight loss. My sister is a very beautiful person. However, she needs a lot of encouragement. She has never been one to dress up and wear a lot of make up, but I am sure it would help her feel better, especially if she had clothes that fit her again. She is so incredably depressed about all the losses she has endured. (not to mention that she lost her job because she herself became quite ill through these events.) I am entering her to win a makeover, because she is my hero and needs a little kick start to keep going. Please help my sister, we all miss her smile and easy going demeano.r

Hi,my name is Debora Wilson.I’m a 37 yr old mother of 4 grown awesome kids. I married there father at 16, had all 4 of them by age 20, I’ve spent the last 20 yrs being a wife and mother. Now at 37 I’m going through a divorce of 20 yrs, with 4 toddlers at 20 let’s just say school wasn’t a option for me so, waitressing is the only thing I’ve done in my life. I am pretty danm good at it and make real good money, but it’s no career like my husband of 20 yrs got, and still has. NVR thought I needed to secure my own future for when being mom was done, none of us foresee divorce. Or starting over with nothing? My dreams have always been to model or act. Now that my grown kids don’t need a mom and there is no husband stopping me? I paid my fees for the modeling school I attended a few years back. I now have to take pictures for my profile. To get started. A make over for those pictures would be a blessing in so many ways.however, there are millions of lady’s who deserve this and more. So good luck ladies, and congrats to the lucky lady.. Now let’s go turn some heads, cause were all still beautiful:)

Hello i am a 20 year old mom with a two year old. For the past few years I have been struggling with my self-esteem. I’m constantly depressed. I would always be excited to get ready and dressed up. I had been in a relationship where I was constantly put down. Its just words but they did a lot of damage. I just couldn’t look at myself the same. Since my son was born I stopped trying. He was the only thing that would give me a reason to live. I don’t feel beautiful i look at myself and cry, I’ve been pushed to my limit, I finally said enough was enough. I need a new start to begin a better life, a happier and more positive one. I haven’t done my hair or make up because of the constant insults.I’m nervous and scared if I get lucky I would be so incredibly blessee. I have gone through a lot of things in my short life as a mom but its something that I will remember for a life time. I have no job, I am not going to school but with a little boost I pray I can get I know it can all be turned around. Thank you for taking the time to read a part of my story, I hope I get chosen.
