The Splurge: Phytodensium Anti-Aging Shampoo and Phytojoba Intense Hydrating Mask

Why We Love It: After years of wishing we could try Phyto hair products, we were thrilled to try this rich, hydrating brand (with a cult-like following). Luckily, it lived up it’s reputation. Although the anti-aging shampoo is meant to strengthen hair with protein based ingredients, it also gave our hair unbelievable amounts of volume and life (a serious Beyonce moment). The hydrating mask was perfect in place of our usual conditioner, and made our strands look shinier and silkier (with just one wash). Plus, it comes in a huge container, so it’ll make your Splurge last that much longer.

The Save: Pantene Pro-V Highlighting Expressions Daily Color Enhancing Shampoo and Conditioner

Why We Love It: It often seems like drugstore brands won’t do the trick as well as their pricier counterparts, but we have never gotten so many compliments than after using this shampoo/conditioner combo. It truly brought out the shine in our hair (and comes in a variety of shades to match your personal hair color), while still giving plenty of volume and softness. You’ve got to love the idea of a shampoo and conditioner that naturally highlight your hair and liven up your color, while keeping things clean and fresh.
