Do you have a hard time fitting fruit into your diet (and your family’s)? So do I. On any given day, my daughters might change their tastes in food (grapes instead of apples), continue to despise certain options (my eldest hates bananas since birth), or refuse to eat produce all together. Even though I’ve raised both girls to enjoy fresh, healthy foods since a young age (and some days they’ll enjoy vegetarian sushi and quinoa), fruit can still be a battle.
When all else fails in the world of eating fruit, fruit cups are almost always a success. Call me crazy, but if you put bite sized foods in cute portable cups (and let them eat with their fingers)… it’s a game changer. If I could put hummus and broccoli or tofu stir fry in a similar packaging, I wouldn’t doubt that children would at least consider it.
