Get High Volume Hair Like Elle Macpherson — Real Momma Product Review

Love high volume hair or long layers (like moms Melanie Brown and Elle Macpherson), but don’t know how to get it? Try this…

Do you want to maintain the high volume and tousled waves that’s the trademark of summer? According to Real Momma Tara, Phyto’s volumizer spray does the trick…

The Product: Phytovolume Actif Volumizer Spray

What I Thought: “This product lives up to its claims to give your hair lift and body! This spray would work especially well for those with normal to oily hair, as it has a tendency to be a bit drying. Great for achieving sexy “beach hair”!”

We recently had Makeover Momma reader Renee (creator of the fabulously honest blog Me, Myself and Mommy) admit on our Facebook page: “I’m in need of a makeover, so I’ve been browsing for haircut ideas.” Winter is definitely the time to embrace choppy, bold haircuts (to add life to limp hair), and deeper darker colors. We love fellow Beauty Bloggerati Marlena (from Makeup Geek) adorable video about her own Funky Chunky Hair style. When in doubt, it’s always better to start with small changes (like long layers or wisps framing the face), to make sure it fits your mothering lifestyle, before jumping into a bold decision. For more ideas on how to style your hair this winter, check out our own How To Style Your Hair For Fall video.

  1. Renee says:

Thank you so much for the hair ideas! I\’m having a hard time commiting to a new style, but I really think a big change will pull me out of my funk

  2. Bailey says:

I know what you mean… I’m in between salon appointments (VERY far between), and it definitely makes me feel crummy (my hair color looks gross, even when it’s clean and nice)
