Indoor Exercise With Preschoolers — Fit With Family
  Makeover Momma Fitness Question:   Â
“Now that it’s getting colder outside, what is a fun physical activity that I can play with my preschooler indoors?”
Mother Reese Witherspoon bundles up (with new boyfriend) in the cold.
As the temperatures drop and autumn weather sets in, it is still possible to stay active and fit with your children indoors (with just a little dose of creativity)…
- Try channeling Risky Business (the PG version) and dancing around your living room for some exercise. Pop in your kid’s favorite CD or turn up the radio, and have your very own in-home dance party! If dancing is simply not your thing, try using tools and toys that you already have around the house to get fit with the kids.
- Hula-hoops are an amazing stomach toner- check out this latest fitness trend with Hoopnotica DVD’s and weighted hula hoops, designed to swivel you into shape.
- Jumping rope is fantastic exercise, so try to create skipping challenges with your kids.
- Set up an in-home relay coarse. As long as you don’t break anything, try using household landmarks like the couch, stairs, or kitchen counter top to create a path of jogging, step-ups, push-ups, or jumping jacks. Be creative, and your kids will have fun!
