Corey Holmes: Creative Director and Senior Editor
Corey Holmes is the Assistant Artistic Director for Amyclae Dance Academy, where she is constantly suspended between glitter eyeliner and bruised knees. She received her BA in Acting and Directing from Florida Atlantic University, as well as an M.Litt and MFA in Shakespeare and Renaissance Literature and Performance from Mary Baldwin College in association with The American Shakespeare Center. Corey loves making cocktails and the culinary arts, hence her blog Wasty Cakes, which combines a decadent and loving combination of the two. She spends her time (when not teaching, blogging, cooking or drinking) with her own Prince Charming-her husband, and their two evil-witch-baby-cats. When Corey grows up, she would like to be Danielle Fischel from E’s The Dish.

Nadia Calderolli Pontif: “ I am just an over excited individual who loves my hubby, family, people, music, friends, SEC sports, food, fashion, beauty, philanthropy and fitness!! I’ve had a wide range of jobs from being an Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army to an esthetician in a posh spa. I currently work in disaster public affairs at the American Red Cross National Headquarters. My activities include spending time with the love of my life, volunteering with the Junior League of Northern Virginia, co-chairing the Fitness Center Committee and running group CrossTrainers at the Red Cross, teaching Zumba and living and loving life to the fullest. My motto is: Eat, laugh, dance, love, sweat, wear gloss at all times and eat! I am so thrilled to be a part of the Makeover Momma family!”

Chantielle MacFarlane is an online marketing consultant, specializing in content creation and search engine optimization. A graduate of the University of Western Ontario, in London, Ontario, Canada Chantielle is dedicated to providing small businesses and entrepreneurs with effective and affordable online marketing tools. She especially enjoys helping small business owners integrate their offline marketing efforts with online initiatives in order to present a cohesive promotional platform.

Real Momma Panel
Julie is completing her 8th year as a special education teacher. She currently teaches full time at a state operated psychiatric facility for children and adolescents, and has recently completed her Masters of Education degree (with a concentration in early childhood). Julie is the proud mother of 1 and ½ year old Ella. Her life has been changed and enriched by becoming a mother, and she loves learning and experiencing everything about motherhood! Julie has a wonderful husband, Adam, who is also a wonderful father. Her family spends their evenings and weekends taking Ella to music classes, puppet shows at the library, church and play dates (all of which provide Julie with the opportunity to socialize and share stories with a variety of other moms)!
Most recently, Julie explained she has “learned the importance of taking some time for herself to become more ‘fit, fashionable, and fabulous’!” She is on a weight loss journey, and is learning more about products that have boosted her self-esteem and confidence. Adding, “Makeover Momma has provided me with many tips and tools as I’m making these changes! I look forward to future contributions to the Real Momma Reader Panel as well as learning more from all that Makeover Momma has to offer!”
Shanda is mom to two girls ages 3 years and 6 months. When not dressing them up in matching outfits with coordinating bows, she loves anything dance related (she is a dance educator), Turbo Kick and snuggling with husband Dan on the couch.
Tara is a stay at home mom to two children under the age of 3. Whenever her kids allow, she enjoys walking, running, and horseback riding to stay in shape. Tara is constantly researching natural and organic beauty and skin care products and loves trying out her latest finds! She hopes that moms visiting Makeover Momma will realize the importance of taking care of themselves physically, emotionally, and spiritually, in order to be the best moms they can be!
Rachel is a stay at home mom who is nuts about her two sweet girls. Before kids, she was passionate about aviation, pursued engineering, and loved calligraphy. Now she is fascinated by nutrition, reads whenever she can, and would do almost anything for a nap.

Jenny is a stay-at-home mom to two busy boys. When she’s not chasing them around, you may find her teaching kids’ French classes. She is a huge fan of fresh, local foods, cooking from scratch, finding a great deal, and running or walking with friends for exercise.
